Broadway Sessions w/ Ben D is thrilled to welcome Katie Thompson and the music of Bobby Cronin July 28th.

Katie Thompson (left), Morgan Karr and Mac Award Winner Cait Doyle led the cast of This Preview is RATED RSO-a set of songs by Ryan Scott Oliver-which will perform at the Public Theatre, produced by the Summer Play Festival. The evening featured songs from Mrs. Sharp, Darling, plus new material. The concert play took place Friday, July 24 at 9:30pm.

Eric Schaeffer, Artistic Director of Signature Theatre, today announced casting for the world premiere production of the musical Giant by composer Michael John LaChiusa and playwright Sybille Pearson.

Upright Cabaret, the popular Los Angeles theatrical showcase featuring an eclectic mix of artists from stage, screen and the recording world, is presenting Broadway star Eden Espinosa as she debuts her solo show, Eden Espinosa- ME, in New York City.

Broadway Sessions w/ Ben D is described as an evening of music, games and comedy featuring a new Broadway guest each week. Broadway Sessions is hosted by actor Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose). The show takes place every Tuesday night at 11 pm at popular midtown nightclub Therapy (348 west 52nd street) at 11 pm.

Jenna gives a rundown of where she's been and who she's seen in the world of cabaret in the past week. The past week's shows include The Broadway Boys at Birdland, Adriana McPhee at the Metropolitan Room, and the MAC New Face Showcase at the Reprise Room.

On February 16th, some of today's brightest Broadway talent came together at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club and celebrated the compositions of songwriter Katie Thompson. Thompson, accompanied each performer as well as herself on the piano, and was joined by cellists Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf and Allison Seidner.

Katie originated the roles of 'Sariah' in THE ARK and 'Connie Lou' in Michael McLean's THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS, a role she owned for 7 years of touring everywhere from Honolulu to Washington, D.C. As a songwriter, Katie was nominated for a Pearl Award, an Indie Award, and on the MAC ballot for her original songs 'I Can Be Bought', 'It Doesn't Hurt', and for NEW YORK DEBUT - FEMALE.
