Dawn Landes & Daniel Goldstein to Unveil New Musical ROW at Joe's Pub Next Month

As part of New York Voices, the artist commissioning program of Joe's Pub at The Public, singer-songwriter Dawn Landes (music and lyrics) and director Daniel Goldstein (book) bring forth a new musical called ROW - the heartbreaking but ultimately uplifting story of Tori Murden McClure, the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean. On June 21 and 22, Landes, with Xanthe Elbrick (Tori), Stephen Bogardus (Mac) and more, will perform a concert version of ROW at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette, NYC).

World Premiere of Tanya Barfield's BRIGHT HALF LIFE Opens Tonight at New York City Center

Women's Project Theater, under the leadership of newly-appointed Producing Artistic Director Lisa McNulty, is pleased to present the World Premiere of BRIGHT HALF LIFE - a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Tanya Barfield and directed by Tony Award nominee Leigh Silverman - in a five-week limited engagement at New York City Center Stage II (131 W. 55th Street) through March 22, 2015. Opening night is set for tonight, February 25.

FIDELIS and PING PONG Play in Rep at PUBLIC STUDIO, Beginning Tonight; All Tickets $10

The Public Theater welcomes the return of PUBLIC STUDIO, which will present two new plays this spring by emerging and up-and-coming playwrights. The two plays will run in repertory from today, February 20 to March 1 in The Public's Shiva Theater and will be presented as pared-down productions with the low ticket price of only $10.

Tonight, February 11, 13 and 14, 2015 at 7:00PM, Redbone will perform a concert of songs from the work-in-progress at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette, NYC), with an all-star band in tow.

Martin Short, Katie Finneran & More Set for Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2015 Gala

Williamstown Theatre Festival (Mandy Greenfield, Artistic Director) has announced that the annual WTF Gala will be held at City Winery in New York City (155 Varick Street) on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 6:30 PM. The evening will feature appearances and performances by Tony and Emmy Award-winner Martin Short, two-time Tony Award-winner and Williamstown veteran Katie Finneran, the acclaimed PigPen Theatre Co., up-and-coming singer/songwriter Benjamin Scheuer (The Lion), and New York favorite Rebecca Naomi Jones, with more performers and participants to be announced.

Yesterday, November 10, 2014, Theatre Communications Group (TCG) celebrated its annual gala. This year the organization honored Jules Fisher, Lynn Nottage, and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation at 583 Park Avenue in New York City. The performances included previews of two productions from TCG Member Theatres: A Walk on the Moon (New York Stage and Film) and Immediate Family (About Face Theatre, Center Theatre Group, and the Goodman Theatre). Live Source's BOHEMIAN LIGHTS Begins Performances Tonight at HERE

The multidisciplinary performance ensemble Live Source presents the world-premiere adaptation of BOHEMIAN LIGHTS, based on Ramon Valle-Inclan's 'Luces de Bohemia,' adapted by Live Source with Fernando Gonzalez.
