SCR's ten previous Festivals have introduced 57 new plays to the national stage. This year's Festival will include a fully-produced production of What They Have by Kate Robin. Cast members of What They Have include Kevin Rahm (TV's Judging Amy, Desperate Housewives) and Marin Hinkle (TV's Once and Again, Two and a Half Men).

South Coast Repertory's Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF) will celebrate its 11th annual edition with a lineup composed of seven SCR-commissioned plays from an array of writers. Since its creation in 1998, PPF has grown into one of the most important festivals of new scripts in the United States. This year's Festival will take place during the May 2 through May 4 weekend with a workshop production, four staged readings and two fully-staged World Premieres on South Coast Repertory's two major stages. Nancy Bell, Marin Hinkle, Matt Letscher and Kevin Rahm will star in the World Premiere of What They Have by 'Six Feet Under' scribe Kate Robin at the South Coast Repertory Theatre.

InFusion Theatre Company continues its second season with the Midwest premiere of Intrigue With Faye by Kate Robin, writer/producer of HBO's Emmy-award winning series 'Six Feet Under.' Taking a page from the design concept of InFusion's production of The Last Supper, this 'video-infused' play is directed by Artistic Director Mitch Golob. South Coast Repertory Artistic Directors David Emmes and Martin Benson have been named the recipients of the 2007-08 Margo Jones Medal. The prestigious award honors those who have demonstrated a significant impact, understanding and affirmation of the craft of playwriting, with a lifetime commitment to the encouragement of the living theater everywhere. The venerable duo has guided South Coast Repertory from a small touring company into one of the country's leading professional theaters, now approaching its 45th season and known world-wide for its development of new work for the stage. The Ohio State University Libraries and College of the Arts will present the award to Emmes and Benson on May 1 at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California, kicking off the theater's nationally-renowned Pacific Playwrights Festival.

What They Have, a new play by 'Six Feet Under' scribe Kate Robin, will receive its World Premiere at South Coast Repertory during the 11th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival. Hollywood and the L.A. scene are backdrops for this poignant and funny SCR-commissioned play about two entertainment industry couples whose lives-and lifestyles-converge in surprising ways. Directed by Chris Fields, What They Have will run from April 4 through May 4, 2008 on the Segerstrom Stage.

The cast and creative team of Atlantic Theater Company's world premiere production Almost An Evening are currently in rehearsals with playwright and Academy Award-winning film-maker Ethan Coen's and Atlantic artistic director Neil Pepe.
