Reg Rogers to Star in South Coast Rep 'Injured Party'

Obie winner and Tony Award nominee Reg Rogers will star in The Injured Party, a new comedy by Tony Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg. Commissioned by SCR and directed by Trip Cullman, The Injured Party will receive its World Premiere at South Coast Repertory during the 11th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival. The show will run from April 20 through May 11, 2008 on the Julianne Argyros Stage. Low-priced previews are available from April 20 through April 24. Opening night is April 25. Photo Flash: 'What They Have' At South Coast Rep

SCR's ten previous Festivals have introduced 57 new plays to the national stage. This year's Festival will include a fully-produced production of What They Have by Kate Robin. Cast members of What They Have include Kevin Rahm (TV's Judging Amy, Desperate Housewives) and Marin Hinkle (TV's Once and Again, Two and a Half Men).

South Coast Repertory's Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF) will celebrate its 11th annual edition with a lineup composed of seven SCR-commissioned plays from an array of writers. Since its creation in 1998, PPF has grown into one of the most important festivals of new scripts in the United States. This year's Festival will take place during the May 2 through May 4 weekend with a workshop production, four staged readings and two fully-staged World Premieres on South Coast Repertory's two major stages. InFusion Presents Video-Infused Play 'Intrigue With Faye'

InFusion Theatre Company continues its second season with the Midwest premiere of Intrigue With Faye by Kate Robin, writer/producer of HBO's Emmy-award winning series 'Six Feet Under.' Taking a page from the design concept of InFusion's production of The Last Supper, this 'video-infused' play is directed by Artistic Director Mitch Golob. Previews are April 14-16 at 8PM; Opening Night is Thursday April 17 at 8PM; with performances through June 1, 2008

Kate Robin's 'What They Have' to Premiere at PPF

What They Have, a new play by 'Six Feet Under' scribe Kate Robin, will receive its World Premiere at South Coast Repertory during the 11th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival. Hollywood and the L.A. scene are backdrops for this poignant and funny SCR-commissioned play about two entertainment industry couples whose lives-and lifestyles-converge in surprising ways. Directed by Chris Fields, What They Have will run from April 4 through May 4, 2008 on the Segerstrom Stage.
