Artistic Director Josie Rourke and Executive Producer Kate Pakenham announce today that the Donmar Warehouse will launch two ambitious seasons of work in London's King's Cross and in New York.

Artistic Director Josie Rourke said: One of the things that most excites me about this season is the strong leading roles for women. It is a thrill to announce a season of work that features, in plays by living writers, women of the calibre and power of Zawe Ashton, Sinead Cusack, Michelle Dockery, Michelle Fairley, Genevive O'Reilly and Janet McTeer, who returns to the Donmar and the London stage. This, combined with the transfer of Phyllida Lloyd's second instalment in her trilogy of all-female Shakespeares to New York shows a programme of work in deep conversation with the lives of women and their status as actors on our stage. We continue our commitment to bringing topical and searing new plays to the Donmar with the British premiere of Christopher Shinn's Teddy Ferrara. I am particularly delighted that Dominic Cooke is returning to theatre and to his long-standing collaboration with Christopher Shinn to direct this production. On a personal note, I have long wanted to direct Christopher Hampton's superb Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and the cast we have drawn together is a testament to the brilliance of his play. As well as welcoming Janet McTeer back to the Donmar, I am thrilled that Dominic West will return to our stage in this production.

The Donmar Warehouse has confirmed the full cast for The Vote. Joining the previously announced cast, Eddie Arnold, MyAnna Buring, Stavros Demetraki, Tommy French, Joanna Griffin, Gerard Horan, Chukwudi Iwuji, Stephen Kennedy, Beverley Longhurst, Andrew McDonald, Bhasker Patel, Penny Ryder and Michael Shaeffer complete an ensemble of actors who will represent the team of polling station volunteers, polling officers, and the diverse array of characters that are the voting public.

The Donmar Warehouse today announces that Lord Browne of Madingley will succeed Lord Smith of Finsbury as Chair of its Board. John Browne will take over from Chris Smith from 19 March 2015.

Artistic Director Josie Rourke today announced a Spring season of work including the revival of Patrick Marber's 20th Century classic Closer; a new play for theatre and television by James Graham, The Vote; and the world premiere of Temple, a new play by Steve Waters.

In 2012, Phyllida Lloyd's all-female production of Julius Caesar at the Donmar Warehouse placed the play in a women's prison. It stunned audiences on both sides of the Atlantic and challenged the idea of 'who owns Shakespeare?' In one of the schools workshops around the production, teachers heard one of their students, a girl, speak in public for the first time. It couldn't end there.

The 20th anniversary production of Kevin Elyot's Olivier and Evening Standard award-winning play My Night With Reg. The comedy will open at the Donmar Warehouse tonight, 31 July 2014, directed by current Donmar Warehouse Trainee Associate Director Robert Hastie.

The Music Box Theatre continues its partnership with the UK's National Theatre Live - produced by Northwestern alum David Sabel - to exhibit live stage performances beamed to Chicago from England. Next weekend: Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers, Thor) stars in Coriolanus, Shakespeare's searing tragedy of political manipulation and revenge. Atlantic Theater Company presents the American premiere of the critically acclaimed Donmar Warehouse production of THE NIGHT ALIVE, written and directed by Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Conor McPherson. The Donmar Warehouse is preparing to transfer both of its critically acclaimed Conor McPherson productions, The Night Alive and The Weir, within the next two months. The Night Alive will make its American premiere at The Atlantic Theater off-Broadway on the 30 November 2013, with The Weir opening at Wyndham's Theatre in the West End on the 16 January 2014.
