DO I HEAR A WALTZ? will run for seven performances at City Center, now through May 15. Let's see what the critics had to say...

The 1965 musical version of Arthur Laurents' THE TIME OF THE CUCKOO is the only Rodgers and Sondheim musical.

92Y'S Lyrics & Lyricists will host I HAVE CONFIDENCE: RODGERS AFTER HAMMERSTEIN, with Ted Chapin, Artistic Director, Writer & Host, Joseph Thalken, Music Director, and Lorin Latarro, Stage Director & Choreographer. Scheduled to perform at the event are Ben Crawford, T. Oliver Reid, Betsy Wolfe, Karen Ziemba and guest artist  Larry Pine. The event will be held Saturday, May 21 at 8pm; Sunday, May 22 at 2pm and 7pm; and Monday, May 23 at 2pm and 7:30pm.

Next up in the Encores! season is Do I Hear a Waltz?, the romantic, rarely-seen 1965 musical that marked the only collaboration of Richard Rodgers and Stephen Sondheim. Do I Hear a Waltz? will star Claybourne Elder, Melissa Errico, Sarah Hunt, Zachary Infante, Cass Morgan, Richard Poe, Michael Rosen, Sarah Stiles, and Richard Troxell. The ensemble includes Kristine Bendul, Paloma Garcia-Lee, Jenny Laroche, Jennifer Locke, Nathan Madden, Skye Mattox, Devin Roberts, Manny Stark, and Alex Wong.

Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, continues its 11th Season when it presented its 112th concert presentation with two one-act comedies by Shaw, The Fascinating Foundling and Augustus Does His Bit on Monday, April 25 at 7pm, at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2537 Broadway at 95th Street). Michael Childers' ninth annual One Night Only benefit concert, which is entitled Sondheim in Love, will be presented tonight at 6:30 PM at The McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert. Directed by Lucie Arnaz, the evening will feature musical direction by John McDaniel. The show will feature Sondheim's most romantic songs sung by a starry line-up of Broadway's most prolific musical storytellers.

Tishman, and Mortimer B. Zuckerman with the Marian Heiskell Award and President of The New 42nd Street, Cora Cahan, with the New Victory Arts Award. On April 4, 2016, Virginia's Tony Award®-winning Signature Theatre honored the Broadway librettist John Weidman(Assassins, Pacific Overtures, Road Show) with the company's seventh Stephen Sondheim Award. The award, established in 2009 in honor of America's most influential musical theater writer and composer, was presented at a black-tie Gala Benefit at the Embassy of Italy. Horn, announces its 2016 season, the professional Equity company's 39th at its home in Stony Point (Rockland County), New York, a season filled with current and controversial subject matter.

Due to technical difficulties, a problem with the Trans-Atlantic feed between Lang Hall in New York City and the Drury Lane Theater in the West End, The Ziegfeld Society's THE TILLER GIRLS, which was scheduled for Saturday, March 12th, has been postponed.

AMERICAN SHOWSTOPPERS, featuring Fred Barton & His Orchestra in 'An Evening with Cole Porter', stars a cast of today's best Broadway performers. The concerts take place at Pace University's Schimmel Center in New York tonight, March 4 at 7:30 PM and then Kingsborough Community College's 'On Stage at Kingsborough' in Brooklyn tomorrow, March 5 at 8:00 PM.
