International City Theatre's 2009 Season finale is a show-stopping collection of transformational stories by one of musical theater's brightest composers.

On what would have been Johnny Mercer's 100th birthday - November 18, 2009 - and to celebrate the 40th Anniversary season of the 92nd Street Y's American Songbook series, Lyrics & Lyricists, 92Y presents a one-night-only, all-star performance of I Remember You: A Lyrics & Lyricists Centennial Tribute to Johnny Mercer.

Vogue is putting the spotlight on the leading ladies of NINE for its November issue. Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson grace the cover as they take a walk on a Malibu beach for famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. The best of New York cabaret will be out in full swing as the 20th Annual Cabaret Convention commences on October 7, with a special performance titled 'Celebrate! Celebrate! Celebrate!' The convention, produced by the Mabel Mercer Foundation, will run at Jazz at Lincoln Centre in Manhattan for a three-evening spectacular.

New images have been released from the the upcoming big screen adaptation of the musical Nine. The film, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, and Nicole Kidman, is scheduled to hit cinemas November 25, 2009. The all-star cast is directed by Rob Marshall, who also helmed critically-acclaimed 2002 musical Chicago - which garnered six Academy Awards, including a Best Supporting Actress gong for Catherine Zeta-Jones. The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County is proud to announce its CABARET & COCKTAILS SERIES premiering in the 2009-2010 season with magnificent performances in the intimate Carnival Studio Theater by three of Broadway's most beloved leading ladies - Sherie Rene Scott on October 15-18, Karen Akers on January 21-24, and Christine Andreas on April 22-25.
