In its 30 th year as a leading private recording arts and music production post-secondary educational institution, The Los Angeles Recording School (LARS), a division of The Los Angeles Film School (LAFS), is inviting prospective students to a special event, dubbed 'An Evening Session.' 'An Evening Session' will provide a hands-on experiential taste of the school's curricula, industry grade equipment, and the opportunity to meet their award-winning faculty and alumni.

After a sold-out stint at The Cutting Room, the BROADWAY SINGS concert series will reprise their latest installment, Broadway Sings Bruno Mars, at the Highline Ballroom on July 20th at 7pm. Some of Broadway's current, brightest talents will again sing completely brand new arrangements of the hits of funk superstar, accompanied by a full band playing original orchestrations. Previous artists honored in the series include Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, and P!NK. This October, the series will continue with Broadway Sings Sara Bareilles.?

As Solot ends his final semester at the University of the Arts, where he taught for nearly 50 years, The Jost Project will perform their highly respected jazz renditions of classic rock and invite special guests to the stage who were all influenced by the great Evan Solot.
