Santa's New Sleigh was written for the Curve theatre Leicester in December 2012 and was picked up by producer Sam Bradshaw for the Lichfield Garrick last year. After selling out in Lichfield, the show opened last week in Peterborough and is now flying into London's West End until 10th December.

West End Eurovision 2013 will take place at The Dominion Theatre on Thursday, 23 May. This late night show pays tribute to the Eurovision Song Contest and sees West End shows competing against each other singing past Eurovision songs, aiming to win the votes of the audience, the competing entries judging panels and the celebrity judging panel. ROCK OF AGES will play the West End's Shaftesbury Theatre in August, and X Factor winner Shayne Ward is the latest star to join the cast of the production. Ward will play Stacee Jaxx alongside previously announced Justin Lee Collins. The show begins performances August 31, with an opening date to be announced. Stage and screen stars Kevin Spacey and Ian McKellen are among the winners of the 2009 Variety Club Showbiz Award winners. Spacey took home the award for Outstanding contribution to British Theatre, while McKellen won The Bernard Delfont Award for outstanding contribution to Showbusiness. The awards were announced November 14th at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
