A good 'Friend' will help SHOWTIME celebrate the New Year: beginning Sunday, January 12th, EPISODES, starring Golden Globe(R) winner Matt LeBlanc, will join SHAMELESS and HOUSE OF LIES in the network's prime Sunday programming block. The fourth season of SHAMELESS, starring William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum, will kick off the night at 9:00 pm ET/PT, followed at 10:00 pm by the third seasons of HOUSE OF LIES, starring Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell, and EPISODES at 10:30 pm. The seventh season of CALIFORNICATION will premiere in the spring, along with the sixth season of NURSE JACKIE.

SHOWTIME will be available in over 80 million households for a Free Preview Weekend from Friday, January 11 through Sunday, January 13, the network's biggest free preview audience ever. The network currently attracts 22 million subscribers and will be available to 58 million more, for one weekend only. Viewers across the country will have the opportunity to sample the premium network's award-winning programming on SHOWTIME, SHOWTIME HD, SHOWTIME On Demand and SHOWTIME ANYTIME. Academy Award(R)-nominated actress Joan Cusack has joined the cast of SHOWTIME's new one-hour drama series SHAMELESS. Cusack, who will appear in all 12 episodes of the new series, will play the role of Sheila, an agoraphobic Chicago housewife with a sexually active teenage daughter who strikes up a special friendship with William H. Macy's character, Frank Gallagher. Production on the first season begins in mid-September, with the series premiering on SHOWTIME, Sunday, January 9th at 9:00 PM ET/PT.
