NoHo Arts District, CA, September 19, 2013 – “65th Primetime Emmy Awards” Executive Producer, Ken Ehrlich, has revealed the final presenters who will take the stage during the Emmy telecast on Sunday, Sept. 22, (8:00 PM, ET / 5:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company and ensemble member Tracy Letts, Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning playwright ofAugust: Osage County, will host Juliette Lewis, Margo Martindale and Julianne Nicholson as the guests of honor at the fifth annual Steppenwolf Salutes Women in the Arts fundraising luncheon on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 12 noon (location TBD). All three of these dynamic women are featured in Letts's highly anticipated film adaptation of August: Osage County. This year's event will featured a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the film, in addition to an insightful conversation with Lewis, Martindale and Nicholson, moderated by Letts in a format similar to Inside the Actors Studio. Previous honorees at Steppenwolf Salutes Women in the Arts include ensemble members Joan Allen and Martha Plimpton, Julianna Margulies and Mary-Louise Parker.

CBS announced today that Stockard Channing is set to reprise her role as Alicia's mother Veronica on season 5 of THE GOOD WIFE in the series' October 6th episode, 'The Bit Bucket'.

On the fifth season premiere of CBS's THE GOOD WIFE titled 'How to Begin,' Alicia must focus on the firm's efforts to prevent the execution of a convicted murderer while she secretly plans her exit from the firm with Cary.

Last night I had the privilege of taking a look back on an incredibly impressive recent string of major musicals starring the phenomenally talented Brandon Victor Dixon with the leading man himself, ranging from his work last year Off-Broadway in RENT as well as the Williamstown Theatre Festival mounting of FAR FROM HEAVEN, both directed by Michael Greif, through to his acclaimed performance in Kander & Ebb's THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS through to his new role portraying music titan Berry Gordy himself in the audience hit of the 2012-2013 season, MOTOWN. MCC Theater recently announced that Neil LaBute's new play, Reasons to be Happy, also directed by LaBute, will now extend through Saturday, June 29th. Reasons to Be Happy is a companion piece to LaBute's critically-acclaimed award-winning play,Reasons to Be Pretty, first produced at MCC Theater in 2008 before moving to Broadway where it was nominated for three 2009 Tony Awards, including Best Play. The forthcoming Broadway production REAR WINDOW has found its creative team in playwright Keith Reddin(Too Much Memory, Life and Limb) and director Terry Kinney (reasons to be pretty, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest). The play will be adapted from Cornell Woolrich's original short story, the iconic and haunting tale of the wheelchair-bound witness to a possible murder in his neighboring New York City apartment.

HBO leads the networks in nominations with 21, followed closely by FX which collected 19. Topping the list of nominated series are American Horror Story: Asylum (FX) and The Big Bang Theory (CBS) with six nominations each.
