For the week ending December 31, 2006, WICKED, the musical that tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz, once again set a new record for the highest grossing week in Broadway history with a weekly box office take of $1,800,310.

Kendra Kassebaum will play Glinda, a role she originated on tour, while Julia Murney, who played Elphaba on tour, will reprise her role. Sebastian Arcelus joins the Broadway Company as Fiyero, having starred in the role on tour.
