Opera Exposures,, Inc, a local 501(C3) created in 2004 by Edna Greenwich as a nonprofit arts organization supporting young and emerging musical artists that is dedicated to developing a diverse audience by performing in affordable venues, has announced its first recital of the Fall season.
?Commemorating the landmark occasion of its 20th anniversary season, Aurora Theatre is preparing for a festive evening as it presents the Sixth Annual Aurora Gala on Friday, March 4 at 6:30 p.m. Local artists, community members and Aurora staff will be honored for their contributions to the cultural community arts of metro-Atlanta and surrounding areas. Portland Ovations, in collaboration with the USM School of Music and American Opera Projects, Brooklyn, NY, presents the world premiere of The Summer King, an Opera on the Life of Josh Gibson, at Merrill Auditorium on Thursday, May 8th at 7:30 pm.
