New York's nightlife impresario, Daniel Nardicio and the Crown & Anchor are bringing both sensational singers to the Paramount stage for the first time ever when the two perform live at the Crown & Anchor on Monday, August 4th. This is a transferral of their two sold-out shows in Fire Island's historic Ice Palace nightclub, a celeb-studded affair that the New York Times called 'arguably the biggest cultural event on Fire Island this Summer.' Everyone who missed out on the biggest installment of Nardicio's Icon Series will see why the crowds were on their feet after every song and chanting both Liza and Alan's names.

In honor of the 75th Anniversary of the groundbreaking musical movie THE WIZARD OF OZ, the Academy Awards paid tribute to the film, and its star Judy Garland. On hand were Garland's three children Tony and Oscar winner Liza Minnelli, and Broadway veterans Lorna and Joey Luft. Grammy Award-winning singer Pink performed the movie's classic song 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow.'

She was 26; he was 73. Soon after, he invited her to California to write his memoir. They fell in love, married, and were together until his death in 1996.

It's been almost a decade since the Pittsburgh-born Billy Porter released a solo album, and since then much has changed for the award-winning artist, who grew up singing in the Pentecostal church. Perhaps best known for his Tony Award-winning role as 'Lola' in the hit Broadway musical Kinky Boots, Porter's musical background is based in gospel, soul and R&B. He released his first solo album, Untitled, on A&M Records, and a second album, At The Corner of Broadway + Soul, on Sh-K-Boom Records. On April 15, 2014, Porter releases his debut on Concord Records, Billy's Back on Broadway.

The Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in Manhattan). Called 'a rambunctious, uproarious, unpredictable all-star concert' by The Wall Street Journal, 'Night Of A Thousand Judys' will honor the iconic Judy Garland with special skits, tributes and songs from her legendary career as movie star, recording artist and stage performer. This show will also help celebrate the landmark 75th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. There will be a pre-show VIP reception at 6:30 PM and the performance at 8:00 PM.
