Six exciting performances have been added to the roster of  the McCallum Theatre's 2015-2016 season, including Bill Maher, Hank and My Honky Tonk Heroes Starring Jason Petty, Last Comic Standing, Canadian superstar Jesse Cook, Wynonna and The Big Noise and the triumphant McCallum return of 2CELLOS.  Brochures with these added performances and the entire season should reach local mailboxes by the second week of September. Tickets for ALL performances go on sale on Tuesday, September 15th at 8:00am.

Stacy Sullivan will bring her new show It's A Good Day, A Tribute to Miss Peggy Lee for a series of performances at the Metropolitan Room, beginning Sept. 11. The Fair runs TODAY, JULY 1 through SUNDAY JULY 5, 11am - 11pm, and will feature everything you've come to expect and more from the Marin County Fair including some great headline entertainment with Pablo Cruise, Kansas, The Marshall Tucker Band, Judy Collins, Aaron Neville, Queen Nation, Tribal Seeds and La Misa Negra on the main stage.

The 2015 'MetroStar Talent Challenge' is extending its deadline for applications to July 4 and adding new mentoring to help competitors up their games during the 7-week contest. The eighth annual edition of the summer tradition runs for seven consecutive Mondays, from July 6 through August 17.  All contestants must certify that they will be available to compete throughout the jury-and audience-voted, elimination-round competition.

Lincoln Center Out of Doors one of the country's longest-running, free, summer outdoor festivals opens its 45th season on July 22, 2015. The Women's Forum of New York will present The 5th Annual Elly Awards Luncheon benefiting The Education Fund of the Women's Forum on Monday, June 22nd at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. The awards, named for the Women's Forum founder Elinor Guggenheimer, will honor outstanding women leaders.

In 1969, McLean recorded his first album 'Tapestry' in Berkeley, Calif. Student riots were going on outside the studio as Don was singing 'And I Love You So' inside. The album was first released by Mediarts and achieved commercial success.
