The Stage Raw Theater Awards celebrate excellence on Los Angeles-area stages. This year's Stage Raw “I'm Still Here” Theater Awards Party will recognize productions that opened in the calendar year 2022.

Jewish Women's Theatre (JWT) will honor one of its first employees and most talented actors by naming its Artists-in-Residence Program after Abby Freeman, who passed away from breast cancer in 2014 at age 37.

The next generation of theatre artists will present their writing, acting and artistic talents in Guilty Parties, a new, original show at The Braid, home of Jewish Women's Theatre (JWT) and NEXT@The Braid in Santa Monica, beginning May 5 and touring the LA area until May 16th.

The California Womens Conference has announced the additions of Oscar De La Hoya, Marianne Williamson, Deepak's daughter Mallika Chopra as well as Chris and Heidi Powell to an already impressive, record breaking roster of speakers and panelists on September 23rd & 24th at the Long Beach Convention Center.

On Thursday, August 2, The California Women's Conference (CWC) launched their plans for this years highly anticipated conference on September 23rd & 24th at the Hotel Maya/Double Tree Hotel by Hilton in Long Beach. Among those in attendance were Marcia Cross, Frances Fisher, Tippi Hedren, Sharon Lawrence, Morgan Brittany, Kate Linder, Erin Murphy, Romi Dames, Donzaleigh Abernathy, Geri Jewell, Lee Purcell, Mother Love, Barbara Van Orden and Mary McDonough, Kami Cotler and Judy Norton of The Waltons fame.
