Covedale Center for the Performing Arts will hold Auditions for the first two up-coming Productions Of The Covedale's 2010/2011 season. Auditions for EVITA And UNNECESSARY FARCE will be held Sunday, May 23, 2010, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and on Monday, May 24, 2010, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

All auditions will be held at the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts, 4990 Glenway Avenue in West Price Hill.

As BroadwayWorld announced this morning, having broken the news first on February 9 thanks to the site's international reach, EVITA is indeed headed back to Broadway in 2011 starring Olivier Award winner Elena Roger as Eva Peron. Toronto's The Stratford Shakespeare Festival has revealed revealed additional casting for its 2010 season. The stars include Christopher Plummer, Chilina Kennedy, Juan Chioran, Michael Therriault and Geraint Wyn Davies for the Festival's productions of The Tempest, Evita, Kiss Me Kate, Peter Pan and Do Not Go Gentle. Nikki M. James, who was previously set to star alongside Plummer has withdrawn from the festival due to 'personal reasons.'
