Following two sold-out performances in its series of stand-up, The Schoolhouse Theater has scheduled three new comics for Comedy Night, Saturday, September 6, at 8 pm. The Schoolhouse Theater is located at 3 Owens Road, just off Route 22 in Croton Falls.

The Old Globe presents Christopher Durang's Tony Award-winning farce Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which will include Candy Buckley as Masha, Marcia DeBonis as Sonia, Tyler Lansing Weaks as Spike, Allison Layman as Nina, Martin Moran as Vanya, and Haneefah Wood as Cassandra. Jessica Stone will direct, based on the Tony-nominated Broadway direction of Old Globe Associate Artist Nicholas Martin, whose loss on April 30 devastated the theatre world*. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike will run today, May 17 - June 22, 2014 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run tonight, May 17 through the 21st. Opening night is May 22 at 8:00 p.m.

Comix At Foxwoods will host standup star, Jo Koy, for a one-night-only performance tonight, May 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets are currently available via presale through Comix and Ticketmaster. Regular sale will begin tomorrow, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased in advance for $30, $45 and $60. This show is for mature audiences only.

The ABC Television Network announced highlights of its upcoming May sweeps programming, featuring the premieres of new drama series "Black Box," returning drama series "Motive," and the season premiere of "The Bachelorette."

Grammy award-winning comedian Lewis Black will host a one-night-only variety show featuring comedy, song and dance, with some help from his friends, including Jon Stewart, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathleen Madigan and others. There will also be video appearances by Meryl Streep, Robin Williams, Will Ferrell and Larry David.
