The second season of NBC's Smash featured a fictional new Broadway musical called HIT LIST, written by characters played by Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, The Last 5 Years) and Andy Mientus (Carrie, Spring Awakening), and starring Krysta Rodriguez (First Date,The Addams Family). The fictional musical opened at Manhattan Theatre Workshop and then transferred to Broadway, opening at the Barrymore Theatre and winning seven Tony Awards. HIT LIST, a modern fable about identity and the price of fame, tells the tragic love story of a wannabe pop singer who transforms herself to become a star and the hidden songwriter she uses to get there - but at what cost? Cabaret and special concert event hotspot 54 Below announced earlier today that they would hold a reunion concert featuring some of the stars of NBC's short-lived musical drama series SMASH performing material from one of the musicals within the series, HIT LIST, this December, and a new promotional poster for the event has been released via social media.
Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, The Last 5 Years), Krysta Rodriguez (First Date, The Addams Family), Andy Mientus (Carrie, Spring Awakening), and more will star in HIT LIST at 54 Below on Monday, December 9 for two performances only at 9:30PM and 11:30PM.

After recently announcing over 200 hours of original programming, Ovation, America's only arts network, has additionally acquired all episodes of critically acclaimed series SMASH from NBCUniversal Cable & New Media. Ovation will debut the series beginning tonight, July 19 at 8pm ET. The announcement was made today by Robert Weiss, Ovation's Chief Creative Officer.
