Ars Nova Now Accepting Applications for Play Group 2015

Ars Nova is now accepting applications for Play Group, a vibrant and eclectic group of emerging writers who gather twice a month at Ars Nova to share new work and get peer feedback. The group offers members the chance to develop their plays with peer support; to be inspired by each other's work; to form collaborative relationships; and to build a strong sense of community within Ars Nova. All emerging playwrights are eligible for membership. If selected, new members will be invited to join for a period of two years beginning in January of 2015.

Attic Theater to Present Preston Sturges' STRICTLY DISHONORABLE at The Flea, 7/22-8/10

The Attic Theater Company presents Preston Sturges' classic screwball comedy STRICTLY DISHONORABLE at The Flea Theater (41 White Street, Tribeca). Directed by Laura Braza, STRICTLY DISHONORABLE will be performed Tuesday, July 22nd through Sunday, August 10th, 2014. The Press Opening is Saturday, July 26th at 7pm. Martin Crimp's Translation of PAINS OF YOUTH Makes NY Debut at Access Theater, Now thru 3/2

Following its critically acclaimed 2009 engagement in the Royal National Theatre in London, Martin Crimp's new translation of Ferdinand Bruckner's 'Pains of Youth' will finally have its New York premiere in a production of The Cake Shop Theater Company at the Access Theater, 380 Broadway, tonight, February 13 to March 2.
