More than four million dogs enter shelters each year - and the PEDIGREE Brand is dedicated to helping change the lives of shelter dogs in a big way. To show their support, today PEDIGREE announced plans to improve shelters across the country through a shelter renovation project. This project is a continuation of the documentary-style See what good food can do campaign that launched in earlier this year to show first-hand how good food can change the lives of shelter dogs, like those featured in the campaign.

Director Michael Canzoniero has just completed principal shooting in 48 hours around NYC for “Making the Day,” a feature length dramedy about two actors trying to raise money for an independent film. Co-directed by Marco Ricco, Stuart Braunstein and Bennett Springsteel and produced by Nikolas Zasimczuk, “Making the Day” may be at least the first feature film with principal shooting to be shot around New York City in 48 hours. Disney Channel announces June 2014 Programming Highlights

PetSmart Charities has teamed up with actor/producer Josh Duhamel and his production company, Dakotakid Media, to launch Rescue Waggin': Tales from the Road.

In the latest episode of Josh Duhamel's web series Rescue Waggin': Tales from the Road, Harry Shum, Jr. shares the compelling story of how he found his dog, Charlie, wandering on the set of "Glee." Superstar siblings Julianne and Derek Hough are bringing their own all-new dance production, MOVE LIVE ON TOUR, to Wells Fargo Center for the Arts (50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa) on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 8 p.m. MOVE LIVE ON TOUR will be a complete stage production, with sets, costumes and a cast of talented dancers, with the Houghs headlining in solo, duet and group performances in styles ranging from ballroom and tap to salsa and hip-hop and everything in-between. On Twitter, Julianne Hough debuted her Halloween costume, dressed in blackface as the popular ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK character, 'Crazy Eyes', played by Uzo Abuda. After an Internet uproar (really, people are still trying blackface in 2013?) she's now gone back on Twitter to apologize, writing today that 'I am a huge fan of the show Orange is the New black, actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created. It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize.'
