Fresh from her solo cabaret engagement at 54 Below, Broadway starlet Ariana DeBose (Motown, Bring It On) has joined the previously announced line-up for the upcoming return of Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band. This marks DeBose's third guest appearance with the ensemble. DeBose will perform material she has never sung with the Rosen's Big Band before.

Sundance Institute presents the program of short films selected to screen at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, today, January 16-26 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.

After smash hit engagements in March, May, and September, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band will return to the intimate Manhattan venue 54 Below on February 1st. Tony Award nominee Daniel Breaker, Rebecca Naomi Jones, and Andy Mientus are among the evening's performers.

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) and The Countess of Storyville, LLC has announced complete casting for its upcoming developmental workshop of The Countess of Storyville, a new musical by Martin Silvestri (music), Joel Higgins (lyrics) andR.M. Cohen (book). This epic story of lust, love, mystery and murder will begin performances on February 12, 2014 at The Peter J. Sharp Theatre(416 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) and continue through February 15. Lynne Taylor-Corbett directs.

Richard Maltby, Jr. and David Shire are among the top songwriting teams working in the musical theatre today. Their shows written together, including Starting Here Starting Now, Baby, Closer Than Ever, Big, Take Flight, Love Match, and How Do You Do I Love You will be celebrated by Broadway's best in story and song. A new production of Johann Strauss Jr.'s New Year's Eve classic, the comedic operetta Die Fledermaus, will open at the Met tonight, December 31, with two Broadway stars appearing.
