The Paramount Theatre in west suburban Chicago opened a divine, decadent new production of Kander & Ebb's Cabaret on Saturday, February 10. Here, the cast and crew celebrate the Jeff-nominated production in the Paramount Theatre's Grand Gallery at the post-show opening night party.

EW reports that Jake Shears, the lead singer of Scissor Sisters, and Kirstin Maldonado, Grammy-award winner for her work in the a capella group Pentatonix, will join the cast of Kinky Boots next year!

Throw on some makeup, grab your highest heels, and hold on to your wigs because something fabulous is strutting into New Orleans tomorrow that you won't want to miss!  KINKY BOOTS is a fairly new, Tony Award-winning musical production brought to you by creative dream team Jerry Mitchell, Cyndi Lauper, and Harvey Fierstein.  Inspired by the true-life events of Steve Pateman, it tells the story of a young man who inherits his family's failing shoe factory.

Joey (Barn Theatre newcomer Joseph Anthony Byrd) has the voice of an angel, easy good looks, and a dangerous dream - to headline in his own nightclub. Joey intrigues virtually everyone he meets, but has some colossal character flaws to go with all those smooth moves.

As reported in the Chicago Tribune, the Whoopi Goldberg-produced White Noise will play its pre-Broadway engagement at the Royal George Theatre in Chicago this spring. Performances are scheduled to begin on April 1, with an opening date of April 9. Rehearsals begin in February in New York City.
