Norman Pace (ITV1's The Hale and Pace Show) will play Wilbur Turnblad in the major UK tour of the smash hit musical Hairspray, opening at Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff this summer.

A production of Jonathan Larson's ground-breaking Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical RENT will visit Coventry's Belgrade Theatre this May.

The BBC recently welcomed Lucie Jones as one of the six artists chosen to perform the songs competing for the UK's entry into the Eurovision Song Contest. The ballad that Lucie sang, 'Never Give Up On You,' is the work of composers and lyricists The Treatment, Emmelie de Forest and Lawrie Martin. Watch her perform (starting at 27:45) HERE!

Robert Mackintosh and Idili Theatricals Limited, in association with Theatr Clwyd, are delighted to announce the addition of further dates to the tour schedule for the new 20th Anniversary production of Jonathan Larson's ground-breaking Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical RENT. Rehearsals start today, Monday 12 September, under the direction of Bruce Guthrie.

The Lyric Hammersmith's critically acclaimed stage production of Sir Alan Parker's Bugsy Malone, directed by Sean Holmes, will end its scheduled run at the Lyric on Sunday 4 September 2016.

BUGSY MALONE returns to the Lyric Hammersmith for a limited 12-week run following the critically acclaimed, Olivier-nominated 2015 production, which marked the reopening of the revamped building and the UK's first professional stage production of Bugsy Malone in over a decade.  Starring a diverse range of talented young performers aged nine and over, the lead roles are being performed by three different casts in rotation. Several members of 2015 production are returning, alongside talented youngsters making their professional debut.

Starring a diverse range of talented young performers aged nine and over, the lead roles are being performed by three different casts in rotation. The 20th Anniversary production of Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical RENT is the fastest selling show in the history of the St. James Theatre, having sold the most tickets not only in a 24-hour period after on-sale, but also in the first week of an on-sale period. RENT also breaks the record for the most amount of money taken on the first day of sales, beating the theatre's previous fastest selling show record-holders, Sideways and The Pianist of Willesden Lane.

Robert Mackintosh and Idili Theatricals Limited, in association with Theatr Clwyd and Wales Millennium Centre, are presenting the 20thAnniversary production of Jonathan Larson's ground-breaking Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical RENT.  After opening at Theatr Clwyd for a limited season from 21 October to 12 November 2016, RENT will go on a three-week tour, prior to a Christmas Season at St. James Theatre, London from 8 December 2016 to 28 January 2017, with a national press night on Tuesday 13 December 2016.  2017 tour dates are to be announced.  The new production will be directed by Bruce Guthrie.
