On Wednesday, April 17, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation will host its annual Hot Pink Party at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. This year's event, themed ¡Viva Fiesta!, will feature a performance by Multi-Grammy Award-winning artist Sir Elton John. The always sold-out affair will pay special tribute to Kay Krill, President and CEO of ANN INC., as she receives BCRF's Sandra Taub Humanitarian Award, presented by award-winning actress and ambassador of Ann Taylor's spring and summer 2013 campaigns, Kate Hudson. Joining the evening's festivities will be actress and supermodel Elizabeth Hurley, as well as co-chairs Donna Karan, Michael Kors, William Lauder, and Vera Wang, among others. The Foundation hopes to top last year's record-setting goal of more than $5 million in funds raised to support life-saving breast cancer research.

Today, world-renowned celebrity photography duo, MARKUS + INDRANI announced they will be supporting New York Says Thank You Foundation (NYSTY), a non-profit organization founded to commemorate the love and ongoing support given to New Yorkers by Americans following 9/11. MARKUS + INDRANI, will be supporting NYSTY's Hurricane Sandy First Responder Rebuilding Fund through sales of their exhibition prints. Co-chairs for this year's event are Ralph Fiennes, Harrison Ford, Jodie Foster, Hilary and Wilbur Ross, and Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch. Honorary Co-chairs are Marie-Josée Kravis and Jerry I. Speyer. The event raises funds to ensure that great works of cinema continue to join the collection of The Museum of Modern Art.

The Actors Fund celebrated the close of a year-long $10.1 million special campaign last evening at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, 1535 Broadway. Proceeds from the gala evening brought the grand total raised for the entertainment charity to $10.8 million.
