Walt Disney Animation Studios' “Frozen” kicks off a cross-country tour this week with Ore-Ida, serving free treats to “Frozen” fans from Philadelphia to Los Angeles. Featuring Ore-Ida hash browns and fries, activities, crafts, themed lunch boxes and other giveaways, the tour will be covered as it happens on the “Frozen” Fun Tour microsite (http://www.frozenfuntour.com), which will share pictures of the fun to friends and family nationwide. New this year, the opening night concert will befree, in the David Rubenstein Atrium, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. 'Live From Lincoln Center,' the Emmy Award-winning program broadcast nationally on PBS stations, will shoot four of the first week's American Songbook concerts in The Allen Room: by James Naughton, Lawrence Brownlee, Jason Isbell, and Patina Miller. These performances will be broadcast nationally beginning in Spring 2014. In addition, American Songbook concerts taking place in the Stanley H. El Capitan Theatre moviegoers will kick off holiday celebrations early with an exclusive advance engagement of Walt Disney Animation Studios' 'Frozen,' beginning five days before the film's nationwide release. El Capitan isfrozen over this holiday season, welcoming guests into a snow-covered wonderland-complete with ice-capped opera boxes and a flurry of snowflakes. 'Frozen' showings, which will run Nov. 22, 2013, to Jan. 5, 2014, will be preceded by ice carving performance artists on stage, as well as 'Frozen' characters Anna and Elsa in their first live-on-stage appearances.
