Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that PS Classics will record the cast album of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY on Monday, March 23, 2015. This new Broadway Cast Recording will be released on May 19, 2015. The production is currently playing at the American Airlines Theatre through July 5, 2015.
The new Broadway musical, An American in Paris began previews on March 13 and will open on Sunday, April 12 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street.). Four Tony Award-winning musicals will be presented in Center Theatre Group's 2015-2016 season at the Ahmanson Theatre of the Music Center of Los Angeles, it was announced today by CTG Artistic Director Michael Ritchie.
Gallagher returned to the show earlier this week, but BroadwayWorld has just learned that he will be out again tonight, March 6, and the matinee tomorrow, March 7. Gallagher is expected to return for the evening performance. Understudy James Moye will perform the role of Oscar Jaffee in his absence.
As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of On the Twentieth Century will now open on Sunday, March 15, as a result of Peter Gallagher missing a week of performances due to a sinus infection. Gallagher returned to the show yesterday, but BroadwayWorld has just learned that he will be out of both performances today, March 4, and tomorrow. Gallagher is scheduled to return on Friday, March 6. Understudy James Moye will perform the role of Oscar Jaffee in his absence.

Today we are analyzing all aspects of the hotly anticipated concert event that occured at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall on Monday featuring an all-star cast performing Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhry's Tony Award-winning score and book - the Manhattan Concert Productions presentation of PARADE. Outlining his involvement in the unique theatrical event is acclaimed and versatile Tony Award-winning set designer Beowulf Boritt, who opens up about the exciting and idiosyncratic nature of a one night only event such as this as well as the opportunities available in designing for such a spectacular evening in order to bring his artistic vision to fruition. The Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street) box office opens today Friday, February 6 for tickets to An American In Paris. Following an acclaimed tryout at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, An American In Paris begins final rehearsals for Broadway on Monday, February 9. Previews begin Friday, March 13, 2015 for a Sunday, April 12, 2015 opening night.

To carry over the holiday spirit into the new year, cast members from the You Can't Take It With You Pulitzer Prize-winning revival by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman will be volunteering their time and working as a group at God's Love We Deliver. The cast will be helping prepare meals in the kitchen on Tuesday, January 20th for a three-hour afternoon shift.
