NBCSN's presentation of the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series averaged 507,000 viewers, making it the most-watched IndyCar season on NBCSN since IndyCar rights were acquired in 2009. NBCSN's 2015 IndyCar coverage (11 races) was up 34% from the network's average viewership for the 2014 season (378,000, 12 races), and up 26% vs. the previous record (402,000 in 2011), according to data provided by The Nielsen Company.
American Century Investments & NBC Sports Extend Partnership on Tournament Through 2022

American Century Investments will continue as title sponsor of the nation's premier celebrity golf tournament, the American Century Championship, through 2022. The championship will continue to take place at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Lake Tahoe as a result of a seven-year extension, jointly announced by American Century Investments and NBC Sports, owner and operator of the championship.

NBCSN will present coverage of 12 races during the upcoming 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series season, beginning with the first race of the season from Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet in Brasília, Brazil on Sunday, March 8. NBCSN's coverage of the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series will feature two new race locations, historic tracks, and the final eight races of the 2015 campaign, including the season finale at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday, August 30. Once again, the 2015 IndyCar championship will be decided on NBCSN.
