Her life is less Debbie McGhee more McGhee's the Bakers. She's working her fingers to the bone in that wee cafe of hers with her only friend in the world is Lucy - a talking Goose (and you can imagine the stares in street walking arm-in-arm with a 6ft goose).

It's that time of year again, oh yes it is! Johnny McKnight is back with us at the Tron Theatre this year for our annual panto shenanigans, writing, directing and performing in The Snaw Queen.

Over 50 community performers will take to the Citizens Theatre's stage on 28 and 29 October to perform The Gorbals Vampire, a new play by Johnny McKnight inspired by extraordinary real-life events which took place in the Gorbals over 60 years ago. The performances are the culmination of a 10-month long project which has involved local people, school children and the general public in a range of workshops, exhibitions and creative writing competitions inspired by the story.

Songs Unseen is a performance that aims to create opportunities for Scottish and Scottish-based composers to have their work seen and ideas developed.

A night of new musical theatre, 'Songs Unseen' brings together world premieres from award winning composers, with new songs from emerging Scottish composers; inviting audiences to vote for their favorite piece to be taken into further development and brought back to you by New Inck and Capall Dorcha Theatre Company.
