The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the national tour of Million Dollar Quartet in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater from December 18, 2012 to January 6, 2013. The Tony Award®-winning Broadway musical inspired by the electrifying true story of four Rock 'n' Roll icons is directed by Eric Schaeffer and features a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux. Press opening night is Thursday, December 20 at 7:30 p.m.

8th Annual Holiday Cheer for FUV Concert Lineup Announced

Shawn Colvin, Shelby Lynne, and special guest Steve Earle, have been added to the lineup for the 8th annual Holiday Cheer for FUV concert on Wednesday, December 5th at 8:00 p.m. at the Beacon Theatre. They join the previously announced headliner Lucinda Williams, as well as the emerging band Lake Street Dive, who will perform a short set. Tickets for the concert to benefit New York's Rock & Roots public radio station WFUV (90.7 FM/wfuv.org) are priced from $40 - $120 (plus a $5 facility fee) and are available through Ticketmaster.

Broadway stars Emily Padgett and Matthew Hydzik will star as "Alex" and "Nick" in the world premiere of FLASHDANCE - THE MUSICAL, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film that defined a generation. Padgett and Hydzik will be joined on stage by the legendary Rachelle Rak in the role of "Tess." Sergio Trujillo, director and choreographer for the production returned to the home of FLASHDANCE and launch of the world premiere, Pittsburgh's Heinz Hall, to announce the lead casting from a press conference. Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and Kevin McMahon, CEO of Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, were also on hand to welcome the cast and creative team to Pittsburgh and to make a proclamation, naming January 1, 2013 as FLASHDANCE DAY. Celebrating its 30th Anniversary,FLASHDANCE kicks off a national tour January 1-6 at Heinz Hall and continues on to more than 20 cities with additional bookings to be announced:
