Strawdog Theatre Company's Hugen Hall has announced the world premiere of Detective Partner Hero Villain by Brett Neveu, directed by Gus Menary, November 26 - December 17 at the Strawdog Theatre Hugen Hall, 3829 North Broadway Street. The performance schedule is Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Opening/Press Night is Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15. Jackalope's season begins with the world premiere of THE PEACOCK,written by Calamity West and directed Marti Lyons. It will play November 7 - December 8 at City Lit Theater, 1020 W. Jackalope Theatre Company, the Edgewater based group which cultivates theatre that manifests the adventure deeply rooted in the American mythos, has been invited to perform its acclaimed production of Long Way Go Down as part of Theater on the Lake's 61st season. Long Way Go Down, written by Zayd Dohrn and directed by Associate Artistic Director Kaiser Ahmed, will play July 31 - August 4 at Theater on the Lake, 2401 N. Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. The production features Jackalope Ensemble Members Pat Whalenand Danny Martinez, with Poloma Nozicka and Tim Miller. Tickets are $18 and available now by calling the box office at (312)742-7994.
