TriArts Sharon Playhouse (Sharon, CT) today announced its 2012 Season. The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas runs June 28 - July 15 and will be directed by John Simpkins, whose recent credits include three time Drama Desk nominated Bloodsong of Love (by Joe Iconis) and Jim Lantz's play The Bus, which ran last fall at 59E59 Theatres. MK Lawson returns as choreographer, after doing the same for TriArts' productions of Rent and The Wedding Singer. Music Direction is by Rob Rokicki (Hairspray at the Engeman).

The NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development's Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions will present a workshop production of the new show Pool Boy at the Provincetown Playhouse March 22 - 25.
