Moonbox Productions to Present BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, 11/20-12/12

Moonbox Productions, nominated for numerous IRNE and Elliot Norton Awards, is thrilled to present Neil Simon's beloved romantic comedy, Barefoot in the Park, November 20th - December 12th at the Boston Center for the Arts Plaza Theatre, 539 Tremont Street, Boston.  Performances are Thursdays at 7:30 pm, Todays/Saturdays at 8 pm, Sat/Sun matinees 2 pm. Tickets are $35/$30 ($15 student rush ½ hour prior to performance) available at bostontheatrescene.com or by calling 617-933-8600. (*Press performances Saturday November 21 at 8pm and Sunday November 22 at 2pm.)

TN Shakespeare Company Welcomes New Board Members

Zimmerli Art Museum Hosts Reception for VAGRICH BAKHCHANYAN Exhibit Tonight

New Brunswick, NJ – The Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers invites the public to a reception and series of programs for Vagrich Bakhchanyan: Accidental Absurdity, the first U.S. retrospective on the groundbreaking work of the Soviet conceptual artist, tonight, November 12. The event includes a curator-led tour of the exhibition, a roundtable discussion with individuals who were close to the artist, and a screening of the film Vagrich and the Black Square. The programs, which take place from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Chorus to Perform in Basilica, 11/13

MILWAUKEE, WIS. 10/19/2015– The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, under the direction of Francesco Lecce-Chong, present MSO at the Basilica on November 13 & 14, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at the Basilica of St. Josaphat. This concert is a community concert and all tickets are priced at $5. The concerts will feature Bruckner's Te Deum in C major, along with Górecki's Symphony No. 3 “Symphony of Sorrowful Songs” and his choral work Totus Tuus.

Zimmerli Art Museum Opens Radical Soviet Retrospective Display Today

Today, October 17, the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers will present the first US retrospective on the groundbreaking work of Soviet conceptual artist Vagrich Bakhchanyan (1938-2009), whose incisive critiques of Soviet propaganda led to unlikely success and an embrace in Soviet popular culture that remains relevant to this day. Accidental Absurdity will feature approximately 80 works from the artist's multidisciplinary oeuvre, including prints, collages, literary compositions, and conceptual performances, all of which highlight the humor that guided Bakhchanyan's artistic experimentations. The exhibition will remain on view through March 6, 2016, and the Zimmerli will serve as the only US venue for this unprecedented presentation. 

Local Teen Peformers Set for #TAKEBACKYOURVOICE at State Theatre Tonight

The producers of #TAKEBACKYOURVOICE October 17th at the State Theatre in Easton announce the teen performers who have been chosen to open the show (and sing with) national recording artist FLINTACE tonight, October 17th , State Theatre in Easton. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the non-profit FREDDY© Awards.
