Roundabout's world premiere of Belber's "McReele" to star Anthony Mackie

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is proud to announce that Anthony Mackie will star in the world premiere of Stephen Belber's McReele, staged by Tony Award© nominated director Doug Hughes (Doubt). McReele begins previews in January 2005 at the Laura Pels Theatre (Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre; 111 West 46th Street) and officially opens on Thursday, February 17, 2005. This is a limited engagement through Sunday, April 24th.

The Manhattan Theatre Club world premiere of DOUBT, the critically acclaimed new play by John Patrick Shanley, has been extended through Sunday, January 30th. The production, directed by Doug Hughes, was originally announced to play a limited engagement through Sunday, January 9th.

The Manhattan Theatre Club world premiere production of John Patrick Shanley's DOUBT begins rehearsals today and will begin previews at Manhattan Theatre Club at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street) on Thursday, November 4 in preparation for a new opening date of Tuesday, November 23. DOUBT will be directed by Doug Hughes.
