As a special TBT look back on Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival 2018, today the festival is revealing a highlights video from their star-studded annual PoWoW! set. PoWoW! is a once-in-a-lifetime superstar collaboration that brings top artists together for an ultimate jam session. This year saw hip-hop legends The Roots & Snoop Dogg leading the evening, performing with an array of special guests that spanned the genres of hip-hop, funk and soul. The Queen of Funk, Chaka Khan, took the stage and to perform a few of her classic hits. Rounding out the megawatt lineup was Big Gigantic's saxophonist Dominic Lalli, the exceptionally talented New Orleans' multi-instrumentalist Trombone Shorty, and jazz great Cory Henry.
Kandace Springs Releases BLACK ORCHID EP Out Today

Singer and pianist Kandace Springs offers her fans a taste of her forthcoming sophomore album due out later this year with the release of her Black Orchid EP, featuring three brand new tracks produced by Karriem Riggins that are available to stream or download today. Kandace delivers a pair of inspired covers with her simmering take on The Stylistics' “People Make the World Go Round” and a radiant performance of the Roberta Flack-popularized torch song “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” (a crowd favorite at Kandace's live shows), along with the ruminative “Black Orchid” which highlights the acoustic strum of guitarist-songwriter Jesse Harris (who struck GRAMMY gold with Norah Jones by penning her breakout hit “Don't Know Why”). Country, Rock, Blues, Bluegrass & Gospel Artists All Come Together for Hurricane Relief

Various artists from the worlds of country, rock, blues, bluegrass and gospel are all banding together to aid victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. A few weeks ago, after the landfall of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, country singer John Berry was scheduled for a writing appointment in Nashville with award-winning songwriter Chuck Jones. The two went into the session with no intentions but walked away with the newly-penned song, 'All Come Together.'
