THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES to Start Investigations July 1 at FST

Who let the hound out? This summer, Sherlock Holmes attempts to solve the mystery of the moor at Florida Studio Theatre. The Hound of the Baskervilles, by Steven Canny and John Nicholson, begins July 1 in Gompertz Theatre.  This twist on the classic Sherlock Holmes tale makes for a funny, cunningly clever whodunit adventure. 

Lantern Theater Company's THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES to Run 5/28-6/28

Madcap mayhem and farcical hilarity set the tone for Lantern Theater Company's production of The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, adapted by Steven Canny and John Nicholson which closes the Lantern's season, running May 28-June 28.  Directed by Matt Pfeiffer, the three-person cast features Damon Bonetti, Daniel Fredrick and Dave Johnson in multiple, quick-change roles.

INSPIRED LUNACY, SIX GUITARS and More Set for FST's 2015 Summer Season

Florida Studio Theatre's Summer Mainstage Season kicks off with the wayward, witty world of Inspired Lunacy, the Tour de Force production of The Hound of the Baskervilles, and the funny and heart-warming play, Over the River and Through the Woods. The Summer Cabaret Season will consist of the eclectic musical stylings of Six Guitars, by Chase Padgett and Jay Hopkins, the boot-tapping songs from Kings of Country, by Eric Scott Anthony, and the hip-swinging, hand-jiving sounds of The Swingaroos, by Kimberly Hawkey & Assaf Gleizner.

THE SECRET ADVERSARY to Play Belgrade Theatre

Agatha Christie's 1922 thriller The Secret Adversary received its world stage premiere at The Watermill Theatre, Newbury on 12 February 2015 in a new adaptation by Sarah Punshon and Johann Hari. Introducing crime-fighting duo Tommy and Tuppence to the stage for the very first time, The Secret Adversary will play at the Belgrade Theatre from Tues 28 April - Sat 2 May as part of the 125th Anniversary of Agatha Christie's birth in 2015.

THE SECRET ADVERSARY Premieres Tonight at Watermill Theatre

The Watermill Theatre is delighted to announce its Spring 2015 Season, with highlights including three world stage premieres; the first adaptation of Agatha Christie's The Secret Adversary, a new musical revue Tuxedo Junction compiled by Simon Slater, and E.H. Gombrich's bestseller A Little History of the World. The Spring 2015 season goes on sale on Monday 10 November at10am.

Harris Theater Announces $5 Million Renovation Project

On Wednesday, February 11, The Harris Theater for Music and Dance begins a $5 million renovation project to reimage the patron experience. The addition of two new high-capacity elevators will make the path to each patron's seat easier and simpler. The expanded lower Randolph Street lobby will be the heart of intimate audience and artist engagement.

Agatha Christie's 1922 thriller The Secret Adversary will receive its world stage premiere at The Watermill Theatre, Newbury on 12 February 2015 in a new adaptation by Sarah Punshon and Johann Hari. Introducing crime-fighting duo Tommy and Tuppence to the stage for the very first time, The Secret Adversary will play at The Watermill for 44 performances, prior to a six-week national tour through until 9 May.

Lantern Theater Company to Host 'Quirk of Quarks' Following QED this Month

Lantern Theater Company presents The Quirks of Quarks: Richard Feynman's Legacy following the performances of QED on Sunday November 23 and Sunday, November 30. The discussion, delving into Richard Feynman's greatest discoveries and his lasting impact on the world of science, will be led by prominent local physicists Paul Halpern (November 23) and Kenneth William Ford (November 30) joined by the QED cast members. Admittance to both events is free to QED ticketholders.

Die hard fans of Sherlock Holmes, and now, Milwaukee, when First Stage presents their World Premiere play opening this October titled: Sherlock Holmes: The Baker Street Irregulars. Written by Eric Coble based on the graphic novels of Tony Lee, the production explores the three years when Holmes disappeared, or his hiatus," a time when one of the stories ended as he and his arch enemy Moriarty careened over a waterfall, supposedly to their deaths.
