Rebecca Kilgore and Harry Allen Quartet Bring I LIKE MEN to the Met Room, Now thru 3/10

Acclaimed jazz vocalist Rebecca Kilgore, and the Harry Allen Jazz Quartet return to New York with a new show, 'I Like Men -- Songs about Men from Tin Pan Alley to Broadway,' for five nights at the Metropolitan Room from tonight, March 6 to March 10. Kilgore, known in jazz circles for her airborn and erudite stylings, is making her Metropolitan Room debut.

LUCKY GUY Announces Student Rush Policy!

LUCKY GUY has just announced a student rush and standing room policy for the production, which begins preview performances tomorrow, Friday, March 1 at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). LUCKY GUY stars two-time Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, in the final work by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe. Opening night is Monday, April 1.

NBC to Begin Coverage of 2014 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES Prior to Opening Ceremony

Competition at next year's Olympic Winter Games will begin one day prior to the Opening Ceremony. As a result, NBC will begin its primetime coverage of the 2014 Sochi Olympics on Thursday, February 6, 2014, one night before the broadcast network provides its traditional primetime coverage of the Opening Ceremony on Friday, February 7, 2014.

Rome to Host 'Empire State' Exhibit

Opening at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Rome, on April 23, 2013, "Empire State" explores the constantly shifting realities and mythologies of New York City as a "New Rome." Filling the Palazzo's exhibition spaces, this ambitious intergenerational survey presents the work of twenty-five renowned and emerging New York City artists - each in depth and with important new work being shown for the first time -- and suggests how they might re-imagine the relationship between their community and the life of the city through a unique grasp on its varied sources of power. With painting, sculpture, photography, video, and installation, the artists in "Empire State" examine their city's enduring relevance to the world at a moment when urban life is being redefined rapidly everywhere.

THE JOHN MILLER QUARTET PLUS 2 will debut at The Cutting Room on Friday, February 1 for two shows after an unprecedented 21 week-run at the New York nightclub 54 Below. There will be performances at 10:00 PM and 11:30 PM. John Miller - the music and theater industry veteran best known as a bassist and music coordinator - brings together an all-star group of Broadway musicians who get together after the curtain falls to play their deep-groove favorites. In addition to Miller on bass, the show will feature Larry Saltzman on Guitar (Simon and Garfunkel, Carole King, Bette Midler, Chris Botti), John Korba on Piano (Hall & Oates, Phoebe Snow, Carly Simon, John Waite), Clint DeGanon on Drums (Stuff, Kid Rock, Elvis Costello, Saturday Night Live Band), David Mann on Tenor Sax (Tower of Power, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder), and Joe Passaro on Percussion (Aretha Franklin, Manhattan Transfer, Nina Simone, Donald Fagen). The Cutting Room is located at 44 East 32nd Street between Madison and Park Avenues.

Scott Pelley to Lead Presidential Inauguration Coverage for CBS

CBS EVENING NEWS Anchor and Managing Editor Scott Pelley will lead CBS News' live, comprehensive and multi-platform coverage of the 2013 Presidential Inauguration from Washington, D.C., including the official swearing in of President Barack Obama on Sunday, Jan. 20. Inauguration Day coverage will be broadcast on Monday, Jan. 21 (7:00 AM-4:00 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network and will feature key ceremonies, as well as original reporting from the most experienced team of political journalists on television.

The Santa Barbara Film Festival has announced its 2013 lineup. The 28th edition features films from 49 countries and runs January 24-February 3. The festival will open with DISCONNECT, a drama starring Jason Bateman and will conclude with Rowan Athale's Wasteland.

The CBS broadcast posted a 2.8/07 in households, 3.77m viewers and 0.9/04 in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. FACE THE NATION posted its best household rating since January 23, 2005, best viewers and adults 25-54 deliveries since October 28, 2012. Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 45% of the CBS affiliates.
