Audrey Esparza, Teddy Canez, John Martin Green & Wade Allain-Marcus Lead Rattlestick's POST NO BILLS, Opens 11/19

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater continues its 15th anniversary season with the world premiere of Post No Bills, a Tex-Mex play with music by Mando Alvarado. Directed by Michael Ray Escamilla, performances begin Thursday, November 11th, 2009. Opening night is Thursday, November 19th at 7pm. The show is scheduled to run through Sunday, December 13th, 2009.

HDM Productions to Premiere TROUBADOUR, 10/9

HDM Productions presents TROUBADOUR, a new musical of the life of St. Francis of Assisi, playing a limited-run October 9-November 2, 2009 at The Theater at The Church of the Epiphany Performances play Friday, Saturday and Monday evenings at 8:00PM, with Sunday matinees at 3:00PM. Troubadour's music is written by Bert Draesel, lyrics by John Martin, and direction by John Margulis.

Civic Light Opera Company Presents New Version 'Bye Bye Birdie' Directed by Mojica

The Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities presents the rollicking and stylized 1950's era musical 'Bye Bye Birdie,' directed and choreographed by Dan Mojica of Broadway's 'Beauty & The Beast,' previewing September 17 - 19 and opening September 20, 8 p.m. at the 1400-seat Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, 1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd., Redondo Beach.

NYLPA to Host Two Jerome Robbins Discussions in Feb.

Two free public programs on Jerome Robbins will be given in the Bruno Walter Auditorium of The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center, 40 Lincoln Center Plaza.

Murder Mystery Macdeath Plays Off-Bway in October

John Martin and Dudley Stone's Macdeath, a murder mystery with Shakespearean parallels, will open on October 11th at the Producers Club II (358 West 44th Street).
