Poets to Honor Malpais Review at Teatro Paraguas This Spring

Teatro Paraguas will host a poetry reading with 20 New Mexico poets whose work has been featured in Malpais Review, an eminent poetry anthology published quarterly by Gary Brower since 2011 which gained national recognition for excellent poetry, well-researched articles on poets and genres of poetry, and thoughtful and inspiring interviews.

SF Opera Lab Presents Grammy-Winning Vocal Ensemble ROOMFUL OF TEETH and CHAMBERWORKS

Season Two of SF Opera Lab comes to a close this month with two concerts exploring a rich tapestry of sound worlds within the intimate and state-of-the-art Taube Atrium Theater at San Francisco Opera's Diane B. Wilsey Center for Opera. The "remarkable vocal octet" (New York Times) Roomful of Teeth makes their San Francisco debut on April 23 in a sold-out "Shaw & Shakespeare" program co-presented with San Francisco Performances' PIVOT series. On April 27, musicians of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra curate and perform an evening of ChamberWORKS featuring music by William Presser, John Mackey, Anton Arensky and Luigi Boccherini.

HAMILTON Designer David Korins' Installation Opens at Sotheby's 'Americana Week'

Sotheby's recently announced that David Korins, Tony-nominated set designer for Hamilton the musical and the recently-opened Dear Evan Hansen - among his many other accomplishments - will serve as Creative Director for Sotheby's Americana Week. David will design a multi-floor installation in our New York headquarters, responding to the centuries of American history and craftsmanship on view. The Americana Week exhibitions open to the public today 11 January.
