STAGE TUBE: First Look - New Trailer for James Bond's SKYFALL

A new international trailer for the highly anticipated James Bond film SKYFALL has just been released. The teaser features James Bond who returns to spydom after apparently being in self-exile for a number years. When asked where he has been by Judi Dench's 'M', Bond replies, 'I've been enjoying living in death.' Check out the trailer below!

Rehearsals have begun at the Mark Taper Forum for the Donmar Warehouse production of the 2010 Tony Award-winning Best Play "Red" by John Logan, which will open August 12, 2012. Jon Favreau Likely to Direct JERSEY BOYS Film

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, director Jon Favreau is among the top contenders to direct the JERSEY BOYS film, which is being adapted by RED playwright John Logan. Today, Deadline.com reports that Favreau has begun negotiations to close the deal.

ReVision Theatre Announces 5th Anniversary Summer Season, Ashbury Park

ReVision Theatre has announced the lineup for their 2012 Fifth Anniversary Summer Season, including two main-stage productions at ReVision's new venue, The Theatre at St. George. THE PRICE, THE CONFERENCE OF THE BIRDS and More Set for B Street Theatre's 2012-13 Season

The B Street Theatre, Sacramento's Resident Professional, New Works Theatre, announces its 2012-13 B3 Series productions. The season includes Arthur Miller's The Price which echoes the future in its struggle for intergenerational care and responsibility. In The Conference of the Birds, we see the influence of Eastern cultures and the storytelling that is still applicable in today's Western society. These, combined with the new work Red and the World Premiere that will be announced at the end of the season, will give the 2012-13 B3 Series a combination of significant new works and a few from decades gone by.

Barksdale Theatre and Theatre IV Merge to Form Virginia Repertory Theatre

Barksdale Theatre and Theatre IV announce that the two nonprofit theaters will formally merge effective July 1, 2012 under a new name - Virginia Repertory Theatre (Virginia Rep). With a budget exceeding $5 million, four distinct venues, and an annual audience over 550,000, Virginia Rep will become the largest professional theater and one of the largest performing arts organizations in Central Virginia along with the Richmond Ballet, Richmond Symphony, and the Virginia Opera. Barksdale and Theatre IV celebrated the announcement and the unveiling of the new Virginia Rep sign today, May 20, at the November Theatre (formerly the Empire Theatre) at 114 West Broad Street at 4:00 p.m. after the closing of Seussical, thelast mainstage children's production under the Theatre IV name. Virginia Rep will transition into the new organization between now and July 1.

STAGE TUBE: Frankie Valli on the Upcoming JERSEY BOYS Movie!

Original Four Seasons frontman Frankie Valli recently visited WCBSFM, where he chatted about the Broadway hit JERSEY BOYS making its way to the big screen. While he was there he revealed that the film, set to feature a screenplay by John Logan, will begin filming next year and will be released by the end of 2013. Performance Network's RED Extended thru June 3

In response to demand for tickets, Performance Network Theatre is extending the critically acclaimed drama, "Red," for one week only. Written by John Logan, "Red" will now run through Sunday, June 3, at which time it must close to make way for the summer comedy, "In the Next Room or the vibrator play." "Red" is directed by Carla Milarch and stars Mark Rademacher and Kevin Young.
