Summer sizzles in primetime with the premiere of the tenth season of Food Network Star, as 12 finalists compete for the coveted title on Sunday, June 1st

STAGES St. Louis has announced, due to exceptional sales, the theatre company's momentous production of Always... Patsy Cline will add an additional week of performances Wednesday, June 18 through Sunday, June 22, 2014, to its original production schedule. Always... Patsy Cline was originally produced by STAGES during its record-breaking 27th Season, which resulted in two added performances and historic attendance. Nightly, the audiences stopped the show with thunderous applause for numbers like 'Crazy,' 'Lovesick Blues,' and 'Your Cheating Heart.'

The unspeakable tragedy of losing a loved one is fraught with pain, guilt and regret, and one cannot simply overcome them alone, for a person needs love in order to move on. Father and daughter John H. Irish company Feidir Linn's U.S. premier of Liberty's Ladder will bring its New York City run to a close at Stage Left Studio, Tuesday, 8:00pm. Writer Kelly O'Keeffe invited her cast from Obair New Market on Fergus to perform this memorial production that pays tribute to those lost on 9/11 as part of the 251st celebration of the St. Patrick's Day Festival. The project highlights the contribution and significance of Ireland's emigrants to America's history by storytelling through speech and song.

Notes From Home celebrates the life and music of longtime St. Louis musician and storyteller Blake Travis, who recently passed away at the age of 60, Wednesday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sheldon Concert Hall. Admission is free, but donations towards a scholarship fund for Travis' daughter will be accepted.

The recession has reached the ritzy Rainbow Room, the fabled special-occasion spot that looks out over Rockefeller Center reports the Associated Press. The owners plan to close the Italian-themed Rainbow Grill restaurant temporarily, while keeping the establishment's bar, banquet space and dinner-dancing going.
