On Monday, December 10 and Monday, December 17, 2012, both at 6:30pm, the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center at The Graduate Center CUNY will present two FREE public programs to conclude its Fall 2012 season.

With events planned for everyone in the family, there's plenty of opportunity to support the company that says, 'We don't care if you're old, young, rich, poor, tall, small, skinny or fat. Lookingglass Theatre Company announces a four week extension of Metamorphoses, based on the myths of Ovid from a translation by David Slavitt, written and directed by Ensemble Member Mary Zimmerman. The revival production, coinciding with the 10th Anniversary of the Broadway production, is now playing through December 16, 2012, at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. The show will play tonight, September 19 - September 28, 2012. The return of Lookingglass' seminal production, coinciding with the 10th Anniversary of the Broadway run, will open at Lookingglass in the fall of 2012 and will then move to Washington D.C.'s Arena Stage.

The New-York Historical Society has announced that a rare copy of the "Stone" facsimile of the Declaration of Independence -one of approximately fifty in existence-will be added to the displays in the Judith and Howard Berkowitz Sculpture Court beginning July 3 in honor of Independence Day. The document is being lent to New-York Historical through the courtesy of collector David Rubenstein, managing director of The Carlyle Group, and will remain on view through July 15.

This envelope-pushing choreographed theatrical performance was dreamt up by lauded choreographer Alla Sigalova and composer Leonid Desyatnikov, and produced by Russia's Theatre of Nations. Maestro Artist Management will present the performances in the US.
