The Guthrie Theater presents a special In Conversation with Broadway producer Emanuel "Manny" Azenberg. The event will be held tonight, Monday, August 27 at 7:30 p.m. on the Wurtele Thrust Stage at the Guthrie. Artistic Director Joe Dowling will lead the conversation that will be joined by actor Peter Michael Goetz, currently performing as Willie Clark in the Guthrie's production of Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys.

Swine Palace's season will kick off with a production of A FREE MAN OF COLOR by John Guare, a finalist for the 2011 Pulitzer prize for Drama, and which had its world premiere at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre in the Lincoln Center in November of 2010. Swine Palace will be producing the first regional premiere of the play; no other production has been done. A FREE MAN OF COLOR runs at the Claude L. Shaver Theatre from September 19 - 30, 2012.
