After a 48 year absence, Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will present the first new Broadway production of Bye Bye Birdie as the inaugural production of the new Henry Miller's Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) beginning Thursday, September 10th, 2009 with an official opening on Thursday, October 15th, 2009. This will be a limited engagement through January 10th, 2010.

As part of their generous support, Bank of America has made it possible for all tickets to the first performance on September 10 to be sold for $10.00. These tickets will only be available for purchase at the Henry Miller's Theatre box office, beginning at 12pm on Monday, August 10. The box office is located at 124 West 43rd Street. Nominations in 27 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing's 63rd Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards were announced by Tony Award Winners Cynthia Nixon and Lin-Manuel Miranda from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.

SIRIUS XM Radio's On Broadway channel will feature extensive Tony Awards programming now through the 63rd annual ceremony on Sunday, June 7. Listeners will hear a special live Tony Awards broadcast hosted by SIRIUS XM hosts Seth Rudetsky and Julie James. In addition to play-by-play commentary and music from the award-winning shows, the special will include exclusive comments from Sir Elton John, composer of the music of Billy Elliot The Musical, which received fifteen nominations, in addition to the premiere of a performance of ?Electricity? by Sir Elton John himself.
