Over the next 12 months, Performance Space 122 will leave our 30-year home temporarily while our building undergoes a much-needed interior transformation initiated and funded by the City of New York, the Department of Cultural Affairs, New York City Council. Designed by Deborah Berke and Partners, renovations to the interior will be aimed at bringing the building up to meet current code requirements and LEED silver standards.

Celebrating 30 years of critically acclaimed productions, Theatre of NOTE presents Marathon Redux, a sample of its famed Performance Marathon, as a part of the 2nd Annual Hollywood Fringe Festival starting this Saturday night, June 18th.

Performance Space 122's 30th Anniversary Season has included contemporary performance hits such as Hotel Savoy, THEM, Rumble Ghost, The Escape Artist, The Green Surround and Radio Play as well as a monumental COIL Festival and Spring Gala.

After being forced to postpone the world premier of her lastest piece, THE JACKIE LOOK at the Country Club due to the venue's closing this fall, performance artist Karen Finley will now debut the piece at the Laurie Beechman on Saturday, January 23 at 7:30pm. The multimedia show will run consecutive Saturdays at 7:30pm from January 23 - February 27.

The Blank Theatre Company's second production of its 19th season, Why Torture Is Wrong, and the People Who Love Them by Christopher Durang will end its run this Saturday, March 14th. Directed by The Blank's Artistic Director Daniel Henning, Why Torture is Wrong began preview performances on Saturday, January 30, 2010 and opened on Saturday, February 6.
