BroadwayWorld has just learned that Nicolas Dromard (MARY POPPINS, THE BOY FROM OZ) will join the cast of JERSEY BOYS later this month. Dromard will play Tommy DeVito (which he previously played in the 1st national tour), temporarily taking over for Richard H. Blake. He joins the company on December 21.

Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC) will honor Tony and Emmy Award-winning playwright and librettist Terrence McNally, whose art and activism have profoundly affected the visibility and understanding of HIV/AIDS. McNally will receive the 2014 Howard Ashman Award, named for the Grammy and Academy Award-winning lyricist, who passed away in 1991 due to complications from AIDS. The Howard Ashman award is given annually to honor theater professionals who have made a difference in the fight to end the epidemic.

The producers of the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical JERSEY BOYS are pleased to announce that Quinn VanAntwerp will re-join the Broadway cast on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in the role of "Bob Gaudio." As of the performance tonight, Tuesday, January 14, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical JERSEY BOYS will surpass Grease with 3,389 performances, becoming the 14th longest-running show in Broadway history.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced casting for the Orange County engagement of the first North American tour of the new stage adaptation of THE WIZARD OF OZ. The show will play at Segerstrom Hall from February 11 - 23, 2014.

Blake (Legally Blonde, Wicked) will join the cast on Thursday, January 9, 2014 in the role of 'Tommy DeVito.' He assumes the role from Andy Karl who departs the production following the Sunday, December 1st performance. John Gardiner, who played 'Tommy' on the national tour, will perform the role from December 3, 2013 through Wednesday, January 8, 2014.
