Theater Breaking Through Barriers, the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway company known for its productions that integrate able-bodied actors with artists with disabilities, presents the world premiere of Kate Moira Ryan's BASS FOR PICASSO -- a new play about five New Yorkers, including a physically disabled food writer for The New York Times, whose secrets are exposed during a memorable dinner party -- with previews to begin April 17 prior to its official press opening May 2 at Theatre Row's Kirk Theatre (410 West 42nd Street). Ike Schambelan directs.

John Belluso's Gretty Good Time, a co-production of Theater Alliance and VSA (the international organization on arts and disability), will open on June 3 at the H Street Playhouse (1365 H Street NE). The Lab, a joint venture of Plan-B and Meat & Potato Theatres, concludes its 2009/10 Script-In-Hand Series on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 7pm in the Studio Theatre at the Rose Wagner. It will feature plays by Lab playwrights as well as be directed by Lab directors.

Sydney Theatre Company's box office today processed the 20,000th Season Ticket for the 2010 Main Stage Season. This is the highest number of Season Tickets (six-play minimum packages) that the Company has sold since 2005 and is more than 3000 above last year - an 18% increase.
