Emmy Award-winner Michael Emerson (Person of Interest, Lost) will join the cast for Three Day Hangover's Big Boozy Benefit, an event supporting the company's awesome 2014 Season to be held this Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 7pm at Rockwood Music Hall, Stage 2, 196 Allen Street (bet. East Houston and Stanton) in NYC.

Jennifer Mudge (Rocky), Autumn Hurlbert (NBC's The Sound of Music Live!), Allison Guinn (Hair), Stephen Plunkett (War Horse, The Mend), Chad Goodridge (Passing Strange), January LaVoy (Enron), and Liv Rooth (Beyond Therapy, Venus in Fur) will join the previously announced cast members, all of whom represent a crazy-talented and ridiculously good-looking group of actors from Broadway, film and TV.

Ars Nova has announced an additional week for the world premiere production of Eager to Lose. Originally set to play a limited Off-Broadway engagement through November 2, Eager to Lose will now play through Saturday, November 9. Previews began October 9. The show celebrated its Official Opening Night at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street) on Tuesday, October 22.

Gotham Stage Company's third installment of the new play series will be co-presented for the first time by Slant Theatre Project. Launched in 2011, the SPRINGBoard reading series exists to nurture new plays and to provide opportunities to both early and mid-career theatre artists. Past featured playwrights have included Carrie Barrett, Randall David Cook, and Ethan Lipton.

Ars Nova announces the lineup for its 6th Annual ANT Fest. This year's festival of All New Talent runs from today, June 3 - 29, featuring fresh new work from some of New York's most exciting emerging artists. From trapeze thrillers to hip-hop basketball musicals, 2013's ANT Fest heats up Ars Nova this summer with four weeks of comedy, music, theater and a fusion of all three you won't see anywhere else.

MCC Theater presents the New York premiere production of Paul Downs Colaizzo's Really Really, directed by David Cromer (the Obie Award and Lucille Lortel Award-winning director of hits Our Town, Adding Machine and Tribes). The production, which marks Colaizzo's New York playwriting debut, plays at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) through March 10, 2013. The opening was last night, February 19. UnsungMusicalsCo. (UMC) will present a developmental reading of Sounds Like Love, a new comedy by Arnold B. Horwitt (Make Mine Manhattan, Plain and Fancy) featuring three original songs by Horwitt, Tony Award winner Albert Hague (Plain and Fancy, The Fig Leaves Are Falling) and Grammy Award winner Allan Sherman (The Fig Leaves Are Falling). Originally written circa 1955, the previously unproduced play is adapted and directed by Ben West (At Home Abroad, Make Mine Manhattan, Gatsby).
