Nicholas Hytner's five star award-winning production of One Man, Two Guvnors is currently playing at the Theatre Royal Haymarket after two sell-out record-breaking runs at the National and Adelphi Theatres. Joining Owain Arthur as lovable chancer Francis Henshall are Jodie Prenger and Hannah Spearritt who play Dolly and Pauline respectively. Martin Barrass joins the cast to play Alfie with David Benson as Gareth, Nigel Betts as Harry, Derek Elroy as Lloyd, Gerard Horan as Charlie, Daniel Ings as Alan, Ben Mansfield as Stanley and Gemma Whelan as Rachel.

All the while, the scheming Melinda is toying with the affections of Captain Brazen and the gentleman Mr Worthy.

The National Theatre presents the third season of National Theatre Live (NT Live), a successful initiative to broadcast live performances from the National's stages to cinemas worldwide. In addition to the previously scheduled broadcasts of The Comedy of Errors (March 1), the season will include Travelling Light (February 9) and She Stoops to Conquer (March 29). Since its first season, which began in June 2009 with the acclaimed production of Phédre starring Helen Mirren, over half a million people have now experienced the National's acclaimed work on movie screens around the world. Michael Riedel reports in today's New York Post that Jude Law is Broadway-bound next year in the hit production of ANNA CHRISTIE currently running at London's Donmar Warehouse. The show, which opened to rave reviews, is directed by Rob Ashford. The production is said to be unable to transfer immediately due to film committments, but producer Arielle Tepper Madover (whose ANNIE is Broadway-bound as well) is now raising funds to transfer the production.
