Presented by EncoreMichigan.com, the most comprehensive resource for news and information about the state's professional theater industry, The Wilde Awards were established by Pride Source Media Group in 2002 to honor the excellent work produced by Michigan's professional theaters.
In keeping with their 'Summer Camp' theme, The Ringwald is pleased as punch to present the mother of all campy comedies, Mommie Queerest by Jamie Morris, the author of another Summer Camp extravaganza, The Facts of Life: The Lost Episode, which played The Ringwald twice: last summer and the summer of 2010.
Taking a cue from last season's artistically (and commercially!) successful 'Season of Family', the 2013/2014 Ringwald season also adheres to a theme: the power of words.

The Ringwald Theatre will present August: Osage County from tonight, May 10-June 3, 2013. Capping off a successful 'Season of Family', The Ringwald has indeed saved what is arguably the best for last; certainly the biggest for last. The Ringwald has had great success with the plays of Tracy Letts in the past, producing two of his works: Bug and Killer Joe. August: Osage County promises to be every bit as compelling as his past works.
