The Theatre Company and The Ringwald Theatre announce their first artistic collaboration with their season opening production of THE WHALE. Performed at The Ringwald Theatre, Samuel D. Hunter's award-winning dark-comedy play 'The Whale' will open tonight, October 2 and run sixteen performances through October 26.

Open Book is teaming up with Southgate Parks and Recreation to offer exciting theatre workshops for Downriver school children.  Each workshop will be taught by the professionals of the critically acclaimed local theatre company.  The classes will take place at the new Market Center Park in Southgate at the corner of Eureka and Toledo and will culminate in a performance at the newly built amphitheater.  These workshops will be fun and challenging for all students, regardless of their previous experience.

The Archive has been an integral part of theatre history and research since 1970, with a mandate to 'preserve live theatrical productions and document the creative contributions of distinguished artists and legendary figures of the theatre.'
